before making a pledge to your local public radio station it's a good idea to decide how much you want to pledge. remember, generosity is a wonderful virtue, but, be practical. don't over extend yourself. give what you can afford and what you are happy to give. you can always make an extra pledge at a later date or as a special gift for a friend.
